Three Poems, Two Women, One Friendship
Yesterday, I was scanning my old phone, and I found three poems that I already forgot. I wrote this poem for my dear friend Ms. Nadine Gaton, who today remains as one of Laguna's pride in the field of Campus Journalism and the President of the Laguna Secondary School Paper Advisers Association.
Somebody Turns 33
Somebody turns 33
Somebody turns 33
Still oozing with such glee
A thousand minds from pristine
Yet at heart always a teen
Her four tantalizing eyes
Uncover the world’s disguise
Fullest passion, she exerts
Hidden talent, she unearths
Treasure, friend and confidant
There’s nothing more I ever want
Hear me heavens up above
Lead her to her one great love
Somebody turns 33
Health and luck for her prithee
For having her in my life
Lord, I shall always thank thee
I wrote this next poem for my friend
Ms. Daisy Rombano-Revilla,
another fellow school paper adviser and friend,
an hour before she marches
down the aisle
Another poem for Miss Daisy Rombano-Revilla
fo r the yuletide season, two months after she helped me
after I was pick-pocketed in Los Banos
I wrote this next poem for my friend
Ms. Daisy Rombano-Revilla,
another fellow school paper adviser and friend,
an hour before she marches
down the aisle

The Prayer of a Happy Bride
Lord God almighty,
You handpicked us for each other
You made our oaths cross to complete one another
You destined our union for better or for worse
Now that we will spend eternity as one
May all the tribulations in our life be gone
Allow our sincerest love to fully enlighten
As our journey together will now begin
Bless our vows with unparalleled loyalty
Supply us with a lifetime of fidelity
As well as his seed I will nurture in my womb
A lasting love from the church to our tomb
The most unconditional love we will extend
To stray from each other, we will never attempt
With you, Lord Jesus in our union, we can mend a most
enduring love that has no ending

A regal and elusive beauty
Blooming from a buzzling city
Always ready to spread her spiritual generosity
A trait that made her admirable to many
A loyal and staunch ally
A pure heart whom I can always rely
She might bloom as an ordinary DAISY
But she’ll always be the real Christmas flower for me
sweet :)
